Specialist Disability Accommodation, or SDA, is housing designed for eligible NDIS participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. Depending on the property, it may include features that improve accessibility or allow specialised support to be provided.
SDA funding relates to the housing. Support workers and daily assistance, including SIL, are funded separately. Some participants have both SDA and SIL funding in their plans.
